Brand New Understanding

The Treatment

What this team has discovered is an opportunity to show people diagnosed with HIV that it is no longer a "death sentence" like it was years ago. If  consistent and diligent while on medication, patients with HIV can live a normal life. In addition to staying on your medication HIV patients that maintain their health as well as staying on their medicine can also improve their lifespan.

Our solution is not a cure or “fix” for HIV, however, it is a way to live like a normal person taking medication for their disease or illness.  This solution is innovative because it changes the way people view this disease as a death sentence to a reboundable condition resulting in a sustainable healthy life for many years. The solution is effective because it can increase a person with HIVs’ life expectancy to that of a healthy person.

We plan to collect data by researching the death total of people that have died from HIV due to neglecting to take their medication. This includes researching death total over 5-10 years from not using drugs like Orlistat and Atorvastatin that pharmaceutical scientists have developed to help people modify their own health and bodily function.
